You can go in to Quebec in any season and still participate in a variety of recreational activities. Whether it be a simple activity like hiking or something requiring years of training and strength like rock climbing, Quebec has an activity for everyone to participate in and enjoy.
Water Recreation
Water Recreation is enjoyed and loved by all and in Quebec there many different sports associated with water recreation. Although Quebec is not famous for its water recreation a wide variety can still be found in all parts of Quebec. Some of the main and most fun ones are White Water Rafting, Sailing, Windsurfing, Swimming, Kayaking, Fishing and Canoeing. Locations where you can try these activities are Saguenay River, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Baie de Beauport, Lac Tremblant, Hautes Gorges de la Malbaie.
Winter Recreation
Winter Recreation is no doubt one of the great features about going to Quebec during the winter. While you visit Quebec you might have a hard time picking just a couple out of the wide and entertaining variety provided there but choose any sport and you won't be dissapointed. The activities you should most certainly like to try are Snowmobiling, Tobogganing, Snow Shoeing, Dog Sledding, Ice Fishing and Ice Climbing. Quebec has many areas to try these activities such as Laurentian Mountains, Gaspé Park, Mont Tremblant, Parc de la Chute-Montmorency, and Montmorency Falls.
Skiing
Skiing is a very entertaining and enjoyable recreational activity and you can certainly enjoy it here in Quebec. There are many types of skiing you can do in the winter such as downhill skiing, cross country skiing and alpine skiing. Some of areas in Quebec where you can ski are Gaspé Park, Laurentian Mountains, and Mont-Saint-Anne.
